STORY OF THE DAY: Every great accomplishment began as a dream in somebody's heart. All things are created twice: first in your mind, then in your life. Dreamers allow their minds to wander outside the boundaries of what is, creating a mental picture of what could be.

They are not always the most talented or the best-educated just the ones who refuse to put brackets on their thinking or to limit themselves by what others have done, or failed to do. And that requires courage lots of it! On the heels of every dream there is a demon of doubt. No sooner is our dream conceived than our minds are suddenly filled with all the reasons why it won't work. And certain folks around us will be quick to confirm those fears! In spite of that, we must forge ahead and dream; otherwise we will spend our lives fulfilling the dreams of others.

I love talking to the tennis players and the parents of the players on the pro tennis tour about when they started to imagine they would play professional tour tennis. The common element is that they all had a big vision and it was early in their life. The vision for where they wanted to be in the future caused them to continue forwards towards that goal, even in the 'difficult' times. With God giving you a vision it is a little bit different. Once you arrive, God continues to give you further goals and you never feel as if you have totally arrived. In this way you are used greatly the remainder of your life. - Pastor Bob Kraft
