STORY OF THE DAY: In The Psychology of Achievement, Brian Tracey tells of four people who made their fortunes by the age of 35. He writes, "They each tried an average of 17 different things before they found the one that took them to the top." Imagine that! They tried and failed and changed (16 times) before they found what worked for them. They used their failure as fertilizer and grew wiser through it. That is the key! Don't even think of quitting, for this year is your year!

I am surprised. Two years ago, if I had a few players who wanted to go to a church I was happy. Last year, I had a solid and growing group of 30-40 people want to talk about God. I was surprised when this year many players has expressed an interest in going to church. I reserved a row of 10 seats for players and I am having to expand it to at least 15. I suffer from depression quite often, as what I do seems impossible. I know that is a part of the process. But I continue on knowing that what I do is the right thing to do and trust that God and not myself brings results. - Pastor Bob Kraft
