DAILY VERSE: JESUS SAID TO HIM, ‘FRIEND’. - MATTHEW 26:52
----------------------------------
DAILY QUOTE: God will allow people into your life who look good, but as you spend time with them, they will reveal to you their true motives.
-----------------------------------
STORY OF THE DAY: When Jesus called Judas, He understood exactly what he was. When He entrusted him with their money, He knew he was a traitor. So why call him? Because the purposes of God in your life require certain relationships. How do you learn perseverance? Through problems! Or forgiveness? Through betrayal!

Judas, who betrayed Jesus to his death, and under the guise of caring for the poor, revealed his real motive greed. Now, there is nothing new about the fact that some people you would sacrifice your all for will be the first to betray you, so you don’t get side- tracked.

But why did Jesus call Judas, “Friend”? Because, from God’s perspective, those who shield you from life do you no favors. Whereas those who cause enough pain to make you turn to Him, help you towards your destiny.

Grasp this principle and it will change your life! Having a Judas means you have got a cross, and having a cross means you have got a resurrection! Now when you see Judas coming, you will be able to say, “Here comes my old friend!”
----------------------------------
Many of you have been deeply hurt by a friend, a loved one or perhaps a doubles partner. What you need to grasp is that you will learn something from it that will make you stronger. God never allows something to happen that He is not in control of. And your weaknesses can turn into your strengths as you rely upon God to get you through it. – Pastor Bob Kraft
