We run a program called the Train at Tennis Ministry International Base (TTMI) . The TTMI varies in content from year to year, depending on how the Lord designs our plans.  However, the following is a basic outline of activities the TTMI utilizes.

First, the program starts with a few days of orientation.  This would begin upon your arrival (you can book your flight to arrive in <your country of interest> the day before orientation) after individuals arrive and have a little time to get over jet lag.  This time acquaints TTMI team members with the area and the other participants who may be in attendance.  In addition, each person will learn about the local culture, be trained in sports ministry, practice sharing testimonies with a translator and many other exciting things!

After orientation, our TTMI program commences.  The spend running tennis clinics together with different churches, schools and Tennis Ministry tennis program.  We also spend time learning different techniques to reach people for Christ and to new techniques for coaching and playing tennis.  We usually try o meet with each group twice a week in order to provide you ample opportunities to build relationships with the participants.  As part of a team, you can help coach students and lead brief discussion groups which open the door to presenting the Gospel.

In addition to the training times, we also try to spend a lot of individual time with students.  Our goal is to reach out through relationships that demonstrate the love of the Father in such a way that kids experience the Gospel, not just hear about it.  We usually provide time for you to meet different students on your own.

Everyone gets involved in sharing, whether to the entire group, small discussion groups or one-on-one conversations. After the camps, we will have a time of debriefing then TIM is technically finished.  You can schedule your flight home.
