US Open 2006
1. Pro Athletes: NHL Hockey, NFL Football, NCAA Wrestling, European
Basketball
A sports night service will be held Sunday, August 27 at 7:00 PM at
the Lambs Theatre in Times Square, a two minute walk from Times Square.
Morning Star New York Church will host the event. If you are a few minutes
late, just ask an usher to help you find seats. Confirmed guests and speakers
are Super Bowl Football champion Tim Johnson, formerly of the Washington
Redskins, and Bill Lam, legendary
NCAA wrestling coach at the University of North Carolina. This will
be an inspiring night with awesome music from a worship team lead by a
former pro basketball player, Kevin Singleton followed by messages from
pro athletes from various sports and ending with a message from Pastor
Ron Lewis. You will not want to miss this evening out in Times Square!

Lieutenant Colonel (Chaplain Jim Carter), US Army will be at the US
Open for credentialed players, player families, coaches. Please contact

3. USTA Tennis Teacher Conference:
A booth is set up at the Conference, Grand Hyatt Hotel, exhibitors
booths area. Jack Center from Nashville, Tennessee will host the booth
which will include Christian books, video and other information
for interested coaches. A Church service will be held from 6:45 to

4. Family Kraft news
Our new baby boy was born in Hong Kong, Monday August 21 at 9:49 am.
He weighed in at 6.4 pounds. The Mother, Mia and baby are doing fine. His
sister Ashley, aged four is joyful. The Father Bob is a little stressed
out from staying up all night with the new born. The baby arrived one week
earlier than expected, and has not received his name yet. A family photo
will be posted later.
