All follower of Christ are of the kingdom of
God
All non-believers in Christ are from the kingdom
of this world.
The kingdom of this world is temporary ruled
by Satan or the Devil, who's purpose is to kill, steal and destroy all
believers in the kingdom of God.
Those in the kingdom of this world will be
confused about God and God's people and will reject believers in the kingdom
of God.
Those followers of Christ in the kingdom of
God while living in the kingdom of the world belong to a different kingdom.
The kingdom of God and the kingdom of this
world have different values and goals.
People who live by the world systems of the
kingdom of this world can not understand the kingdom of God.
God has prepared people in the kingdom to
this world to hear the message of the kingdom of God.
Not everyone in the kingdom of this world
who hears the message of the kingdom of God will accept it.
People in the world can not hear the message
of the kingdom of God unless someone goes and tells them.
In the kingdom of the world people are either
for God or are against God. There is no middle ground.
All, who speak the truth about Jesus Christ
in the kingdom of the world, will suffer persecution.
God has given us from the Bible the answers to issues we will face as we tell others about the kingdom of God.
Know who your enemy is: Satan.
Know who is the highest King in both kingdoms:
God.
Know who your spiritual family is: those in
the kingdom of God.
Know whom to love and forgive: People who
are confused in the kingdom of this world. Know what the kingdom
of this world considers offensive: The message of Jesus Christ.
Michael Chang won the French Open as a 17-year-old. You may remember his speech after accepting the trophy and in front of millions watching on television. Michael said, "I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ." Years later, you would still hear him make the same comment on television. In 1989, as I watched the French Open that Michael won, I was surprised, and everyone I knew was taken by surprise at his bold statement of faith. Several months later some television commentators began to take a stand against Michael for his comments on his faith. I remember hearing one nationally known commentator mention on television that the media did not wish to interview him as he continued to comment about his faith. Michael did face intense criticism and persecution for his comments. God in his wisdom, blessed Michael as he rose to world number 2 many years later, and the media could not avoid interviewing him after his many championships. More importantly, through the media millions around the world heard a top tennis player mention Jesus Christ.
